In western Tokyo, a wolf escaped inside the Tama Zoo in Hino. This was reported on December 28 by The Japan Times newspaper.
"It has been confirmed that the wolf is in the zoo, and efforts are underway to capture the animal," the publication says.
It is specified that there was no information about the victims.
At the moment, the zoo has suspended entry and urges visitors already inside the park to stay in safe places.
Earlier, on August 10, it was reported that a lion escaped from a private zoo near Prague, the animal attacked the caretaker. It is specified that the man received minor injuries.
