The Colombian Ministry of Defense has warned citizens about the risks of working as mercenaries

The Colombian Ministry of Defense has issued a warning to citizens not to accept offers to become mercenaries. This was reported on December 28 in the Ministry of Defense of Colombia on the social network X.

"The work of a mercenary is nothing more than international human trafficking: you are manipulated, taken to another country, placed in unreliable conditions without any legal protection... If you receive similar offers, say no. The best path will always be here, in your homeland, on the side of the law," the ministry said in a statement.

Representatives of the Ministry of Defense added that they should not allow themselves to be deceived.

Earlier, on December 13, it was reported that Russian troops defeated a unit of Colombian mercenaries near Volchansk. The bodies of two of them with the call signs Tyson and Aventurero were buried in Kiev.
