The British-American company Ocean Infinity will receive $70 million from the Malaysian authorities only if significant debris from the missing flight MH370 is found off the coast of Australia. This became known on December 28.

Under the terms of the "no find, no fee" contract, payment strictly depends on the success of the search operation. Payment is provided only if significant debris is found. The search will take place in a new priority area of 15,000 square kilometers along the so-called "7th arc" calculated from satellite data.

The operations will last 55 days with breaks for the Southern Hemisphere summer season, RIA Novosti reports.

Earlier, on December 26, it was reported that Ocean Infinity is resuming the search for the wreckage of flight MH370. The work is being carried out with the support of the Malaysian government. Official reports on the progress of the search will be received from the Malaysian authorities.
