Singer Yuta performed in front of the military personnel of the Vostok group of forces
The Honored Artist of Russia Yuta gave a concert for the soldiers of the 5th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Vostok group of forces performing combat missions in the Zaporozhye area. This was reported on December 28 in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The actress performed on an improvised stage in a deep dugout, performing famous compositions, and also presented a new song "Sister" dedicated to military doctors. Yuta said that the inspiration for the song was a story from her family and the dedication of the nurses.
"I travel to hospitals very often. And I see with what a selfless attitude to the profession <...> And I remembered the story of how my grandfather, a paramedic who went through the whole war, returned home alive largely thanks to one story: a young nurse covered him with her body in the hospital during the bombing. And she died. She saved his life," the actress shared.
A soldier with the call sign Metel said that the concert was a real gift for them after difficult tasks and helped to raise morale. In response, the fighters presented the actress with flowers and souvenirs, and Yuta herself brought gifts made by children from one of the Moscow schools.
Earlier, on December 24, it was reported that the military personnel of the Center group of forces held a New Year's matinee for pupils of a sponsored social rehabilitation center in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The fighters organized a concert and helped the children make festive toys. It was noted that they hold such events on a regular basis.
