Refusal to take statins leads to strokes and heart attacks. On December 27, Alexander Myasnikov, a doctor and TV presenter, recalled this on the program "About the most important Thing" on the Rossiya 1 channel.

"There are such "anti—fasting" — that's what I called them - "anti-statics". They don't understand anything about this topic, they are either led by idiotic bloggers or criminal doctors who, not understanding the situation, begin to dissuade people from taking medications. They have strokes, heart attacks and corpses on their conscience," Myasnikov complained.

He noted that during the New Year holidays it is not necessary to abandon these tools that help to normalize cholesterol levels in the blood.
