The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia proposed from January 1, 2027 to extend the point system of product localization to electric scooters and other individual means of mobility with an electric motor. The corresponding draft was published on the website of the publication of draft regulations.

"In section III <...> add the following items: electric scooters <...> electric bicycles <...> gyroscuters, segways <...> monowheels," the draft document says.
