The air Defense forces destroyed 26 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) flying to Moscow during the evening. This was announced on December 27 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in the MAX messenger.

"One drone flying to Moscow was destroyed by the air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense. Emergency services specialists are working at the crash site," he said at 19:20 Moscow time.

As a result, the total number of downed UAVs amounted to 26 units.
