Putin declared that Russia's interest in the withdrawal of the Armed Forces from Donbass had been "reduced to zero."

The Russian offensive in Donbass is developing at such a rate that it effectively deprives Moscow of motivation to seek the withdrawal of Ukrainian units from these territories. This was stated on December 27 by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting held at one of the command posts in the special military operation zone.

"Today, judging by your reports, judging by the pace that we are observing on the line of contact, our interest in the withdrawal of Ukrainian military formations from the territories they occupy is actually reduced to zero for completely different reasons," the Supreme Commander—in-Chief noted.
