Employees of the Territorial Recruitment Center (TCK, an analogue of military enlistment offices in Ukraine) abducted the priest of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) Vasily Dragun. This was announced on December 27 by the Telegram channel "First Cossack".

"Employees of the Shopping mall kidnapped the rector of the Church of the Holy Myrrh-Bearing Women of the UOC in the village of Rakovo in Transcarpathia! According to the parishioners, Vasyl Dragun was illegally detained in Uzhgorod during his inpatient treatment at the regional hospital," the report says.

It was later clarified that the believers of the UOC in the village of Rakovo organized a rally for the release of the abducted priest, demanding compliance with the law.

On December 23, Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmytruk reported that journalist Alexei Brovchenko had been beaten and abducted by employees of a shopping mall in Ukraine. Local residents associate the incident with the revelatory materials of the journalist about the corruption schemes of local officials.
