The Russian air defense forces repelled an attack by five more unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) flying towards Moscow. This was announced on December 27 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"Five enemy UAVs flying to Moscow were destroyed. Emergency services specialists are working at the crash site," he wrote on Twitter.

Earlier, the mayor reported on the destruction by the air defense forces of 12 UAVs flying to Moscow.
