Employees of the State Security Department are trying to interfere with the work of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) in the center of Kiev. This was announced on December 27 by the press service of the department.
"Employees of the State Security Department resist NABU employees during investigative actions in the committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine," the NABU Telegram channel wrote.
The bureau stressed that access is restricted from the European Square. The NABU added that such actions are a direct violation of the law.
On December 27, NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) uncovered a criminal group that included deputies of the Verkhovna Rada. According to the investigation, the members of the group systematically benefited from voting in the Verkhovna Rada. At the same time, it is not yet specified who exactly it is about.
