President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced on December 27 that he would make a stop in Canada to meet with Prime Minister Mark Carney.

"Yes, we are currently on a plane en route to Florida, United States of America. Along the way, we will stop in Canada, and I will have a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Carney," Zelensky was quoted as saying by RBC-Ukraine.

The Ukrainian president also said that he and Carney plan to hold an online meeting with European leaders to discuss all issues and details of the documents that will be negotiated with US President Donald Trump.

Earlier, the White House reported that Trump and Zelensky will hold a meeting on Sunday, December 28, in Florida at 23:00 Moscow time.

The day before, Trump called Zelensky's proposals to resolve the conflict "irrelevant" until he personally approves them. It is noted that the politician reacted "rather coolly" to Zelensky's latest proposal for a settlement.
