A man died at the Odessa military enlistment office during a "reconciliation of credentials."

The man died in the Belgorod-Dniester Territorial Recruitment Center (TCC, an analogue of military enlistment offices in Ukraine), where he was taken for "reconciliation of credentials." This was reported on Facebook (banned in Russia; owned by Meta Corporation, recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation) of the Odessa Regional Military Commissariat.

It is noted that the man who was taken to the Belgorod-Dniester military enlistment office suddenly lost consciousness during the "clarification of credentials" and died, despite attempts by the military to help him. The paramedics arrived and pronounced the man dead. According to the preliminary conclusions of the forensic examination, the cause was acute heart failure.

"The leadership of the military enlistment office emphasizes that the dissemination of manipulative messages in the information space about the alleged violent death or the presence of bodily injuries to the deceased does not correspond to reality," the message says.

At the same time, the Ukrainian edition "Country.ua" in the Telegram channel, with reference to user messages on social networks, indicated that the man died in the military enlistment office from beatings.

"The public writes that on December 25, at about 11:00 a.m., he was beaten by employees of the shopping center, after which he lost consciousness, was taken to the shopping center and died on the spot," the article says.

It is also reported that later, his son received a call from the deceased's phone asking him to come to identify the body, and the death report indicated "heart failure."
