There are many opponents of cooperation between Moscow and Washington in the United States and Europe, including in the White House. This was announced on December 27 by Konstantin Kosachev, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council.
"It is extremely important to enter into an independent bilateral dialogue between Russia and the United States, which should be self-sufficient and independent of third parties. But we are well aware that there are factors and forces in the United States that are not interested in such a development," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
