White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt announced her pregnancy on December 26. She's expecting a baby girl.

"The best Christmas gift we could ever dream of is a baby girl coming in May 2026," Leavitt wrote on her Instagram page (owned by Meta Corporation, which is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

The spokeswoman noted that she and her husband are happy about this event. In addition, Leavitt expressed gratitude to the American leader Donald Trump for creating conditions that support family life, and expressed the hope that 2026 will be a great year.

"I'm so glad to be a girl's mom," she concluded.

In June, doctors at Columbia University's Center for Reproduction reported the first case of pregnancy following a procedure using a new artificial intelligence (AI) system.
