Half of the Russians surveyed will refuse to watch New Year's shows, and about a third will watch classic programs on federal channels. The relevant data was published on December 27 by Rambler&Co.
"Half of Russians (50%) admitted that they do not watch New Year's shows. Among those who are still close to the format, classics are in the lead on federal channels — 31% choose it. Viewers are much less likely to turn to online versions and cuts of the "lights" of previous years in social networks (8%), holiday projects of independent studios on the Internet (7%) and New Year's streams or special editions of bloggers (4%)," RIA Novosti research reports.
