Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said on December 27 that the United States would not be able to impose a colonial management model on his country in order to appropriate natural resources.

"It is impossible for powerful circles in the United States to fabricate virtual reality and impose a colonial model of domination on Venezuela in order to steal its natural resources. This is simply impossible," Maduro stressed.

According to the President, the Venezuelan people have sufficient potential for independent development of the country.
