The last of Dion's five triplets died at the age of 91.

The last of Dion's surviving five—year—olds, Annette, died at the age of 91. This was reported on December 26 by The New York Times (NYT).

The cause of death was complications of Alzheimer's disease.

"The story of the Dionne quintuplets began with joyful news during the dark times of the Great Depression. With a total weight of 13 pounds, 6 ounces, they survived — in a farmhouse lit with kerosene, without any plumbing system - on water and corn syrup until they received donated breast milk," the publication says.
