The Interior Ministry warned about the holiday frauds of scammers

On the eve of the New Year holidays, fraudsters have stepped up the deception of Russians by offering "gifts with fabulous prices," fake promotions and limited-time sweepstakes. This was announced on December 26 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Scammers use holiday lures, forcing citizens to make an advance payment for goods that are allegedly sold at special prices. False sweepstakes and actions with a timer create pressure and encourage people to make decisions to their detriment, TASS clarifies.
