Keyboardist and guitarist of the British band The Cure, Perry Bamount, has passed away at the age of 65. This was reported by People magazine on December 26.

In an official statement, The Cure group confirmed that Bamonte passed away "after a short illness at home during the Christmas holidays," the publication says.
