Ouest-France announced Putin's inclusion in the top 5 cited people in France
Russian President Vladimir Putin has entered the top 5 most mentioned persons in the French media (mass media) by the end of 2025. This was reported on December 26 by the Ouest-France newspaper, citing the results of a Tagaday study.
According to the rating, the Russian leader took fourth place, ahead of French Prime Minister Sebastien Lecorny and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. US President Donald Trump became the leader of the list, with French President Emmanuel Macron in second place.
The study notes that the high positions in the media rating are largely due to the international political agenda.
Earlier, on December 23, it was reported that more than a third of Russians surveyed named Putin the person of the year among the country's politicians. It was clarified that 36% of the respondents named the head of state. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov took the second place with 6%.
