Businessman Timur Mindich denies his own role in the corruption scandal in Ukraine. He stated this in an interview with Ukrayinska Pravda on December 26.

"That is, I was accused, attributed to me, that is, I was media—driven to the extreme," said the businessman.

In addition, he denied accusations that he had ever given instructions to Rustem Umerov, who was Minister of Defense. Mindich added that he considers the current period of his life "not the best time."

Earlier, on December 24, the Ukrainian Center for Social and Marketing Research SOCIS reported that almost 40% of Ukrainians are convinced that President Volodymyr Zelensky is involved in a corruption scheme in his entourage. 2,000 people took part in the survey. The statistical error of the study was 2.6%.

On December 23, British military analyst Alexander Mercuris said on his YouTube channel that the corruption scandal in Ukraine had led to a complete drop in Zelensky's rating. On the same day, the leader of the British Workers' Party, George Galloway, noted that Zelensky would not be able to avoid the consequences of the corruption scandal.
