The Foreign Ministry announced the recognition by unfriendly countries of the impossibility of Russia's defeat.

In 2025, the countries carrying out unfriendly actions against Russia recognized the impossibility of Russia's strategic defeat. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on December 26.

"Resolute upholding of national interests in relations with countries whose governments are taking unfriendly anti—Russian actions forced them to recognize the impossibility of inflicting a "strategic defeat on the battlefield" on Russia," the publication says.

The Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that the Russian Federation has stepped up cooperation with neighboring countries, Eurasian countries and the world majority, as well as expanded ties with China, the CIS, Central Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
