Sociologists have identified the most popular images of the future among Russians. Valery Fedorov, General Director of the VTsIOM Analytical Center, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Mass Communications at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, told about this in the new issue of the Izvestia podcast. These images do not contradict each other and overlap in many ways, the expert says.

"The first image: "Russia is a welfare state." The state is very kind, loves everyone, helps and protects everyone. Second: "Russia is a comfortable country." Everything is very comfortable, comfortable, and polite. The third image: "Great Russia." That is, Russia, on which a lot depends in the world," said the guest of the podcast.

According to him, another popular image of the future among Russians is "High—tech Russia." A country where innovations such as robots and artificial intelligence are widely used.

The head of the AC VTsIOM emphasized that our society is very different and complex. In his opinion, this gives him a chance not only to survive, but also to develop successfully in a rapidly changing world.

Earlier, Fedorov spoke about the main components of happiness for Russians. According to him, these are health, love and money.
