TEC compared the growing spread of Islam in Europe with the situation in Lebanon

The situation in European countries may be the same as in Lebanon, which has transformed from a Christian country into a Muslim-majority state over several decades. The European Conservative (TEC) wrote about this on December 24.

According to the media, the demographic shift in Europe may be caused by migration and low birth rates.

"Christian politicians may officially occupy high, and in some cases, key positions in the Lebanese government, but they are often nothing more than a screen and puppets for Islamic terrorist groups," the author of the article points out.

According to the European publication, the Lebanese experience should serve as a warning about the risk of losing its own historical identity to the Old World if the current migration policy persists.

Earlier on December 26, American entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk, reflecting on the fact that currently about three quarters of children in the capital Brussels are of non-European origin, noted that "the capital of Belgium is no longer Belgian."

On December 8, the Suddeutsche Zeitung newspaper, citing German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt, reported that Germany would no longer accept additional refugees under the EU solidarity mechanism. In addition, to reduce the burden on the most refugee-burdened countries, it is planned to resettle up to 21,000 asylum seekers within the EU.
