The growth of tax revenues in the regions of Donbass and Novorossiya over the past year amounted to about 30%, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said on December 26.

"In terms of taxes, our reunified territories have grown by an average of 30% per year," he said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 TV channel.

Khusnullin noted that there is an active launch of enterprises in the regions. And there are plans for the future — there is still a lot to be done.

Alexander Knobel, Director of the Institute of International Economics and Finance at the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade (VAVT), told Izvestia on September 30 that the revenue growth indicated in the draft budget for 2025 and the planning period for 2026 and 2027 is significant. The expert noted that the indicator was also affected by changes in the tax system.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MA X messenger.
