A college student in Bashkiria was arrested for participating in a terrorist organization

In Bashkortostan, a college student has been detained on charges of participating in the activities of a terrorist organization. This was announced on December 26 by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the republic.

"In the period from January to October 2025, the defendant took part in the activities of two organizations recognized by the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation as terrorist and banned in the territory of the Russian Federation, posting information materials in specially created channels in the popular messenger that publicly justify and promote their ideology and activities," the Telegram message says -the channel.

A native of the Abzelilovsky district, a student at a Ufa college, is charged under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organizing the activities of a terrorist organization and participating in the activities of such an organization"). According to the investigation, the accused admitted his guilt.
