"Conversations about important things" December 29 — lesson program
For elementary school students (grades 1-4), the lesson will begin with watching an announcement from Daniil Muravyov and discussing familiar New Year's stories using the example of the cartoon "Winter in Prostokvashino." During the lesson, the children will complete the task "The Tree of good deeds". Answering the teacher's questions about the upcoming holiday, students will receive cards-parts of the Christmas tree, which will be assembled into a single composition on the blackboard at the end of the lesson. The younger students will also talk about the importance of caring for loved ones and respecting those who work during the holidays. At the end, each student will receive a "Calendar of useful activities" for planning good deeds during the holidays.
Students in grades 5-7 will begin the lesson by talking about the tradition of summing up the year and setting new goals. Schoolchildren will also remember the main attributes of the New Year in Russia. During the main conversation, the children will discuss family values and holiday traditions, and the interactive task "New Year's Wizards" will introduce them to Santa Claus from different regions of the country. The key practical task will be teamwork on the "Calendar of useful activities": teenagers, divided into groups, will fill the days of winter holidays with specific good deeds and justify their choice. At the end of the lesson, students will remember the funniest event of the past year and their kindest deed.
For students in grades 8-9, the main topic of the lesson will be the unifying significance of the New Year for the citizens of the country. Watching an interview with Sergey Zhukov will help teenagers think about the role of their generation in preserving family traditions and how a good deed during the holidays takes on a special meaning. An interactive quiz about New Year's traditions will help consolidate knowledge. The practical part of the lesson will be devoted to compiling a "Calendar of useful tasks". In the final part of the lesson, students will share their vacation plans and discuss how to support those who work during the holidays — doctors, rescuers, and police officers.
High school students will begin the lesson by summarizing their personal results for 2025, discussing their achievements and goals for the future. The children will also talk about the importance of the New Year for uniting generations and preserving family traditions. Practical assignment "How well do you know New Year's movies?" The blitz quiz format will introduce a lively and competitive element by linking the topic to popular culture. High school students will be invited to discuss and personally fill out the "Calendar of Good Deeds" for the upcoming holidays. Watching the final video and asking yourself questions about the brightest and kindest moments of the past year will allow you to end the lesson on a personal, meaningful note.
