The Social Fund announced the early payment of pensions

Most pensioners will receive their January pension ahead of schedule — before December 30 — this applies to those whose payment dates fall on January holidays. This became known on December 26.

"Due to the upcoming New Year holidays, most pensioners in Russia will receive their January pension ahead of schedule. The New Year's Eve payment, in particular, will affect those who have their pension transferred through the bank during the winter holidays. Post offices will deliver to pensioners in January according to the usual schedule. The pension for January will be transferred to the accounts of pensioners by December 30," RIA Novosti quoted the Social Fund as saying.
