A Ukrainian refugee has stopped studying at a college in the UK after being recommended by teachers to study Russian. This was reported by the Guardian newspaper on December 25.
"During the year, she studied economics, political science and statistics. <...> The 19-year—old girl said that when she had difficulties learning subjects, teachers tried to convince her to study Russian instead," the publication says.
