A court has sentenced a Kaluga resident to 13 years in a penal colony for transferring data on military installations to Ukrainian intelligence. This was reported on December 25 in the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the Kaluga region.

It is specified that the person involved independently contacted a representative of the Ukrainian side. As part of his assignments, he twice provided information about the location of Russian air defense units in the Kaluga Region. In particular, he sent video recordings and coordinates.

"The convict was sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 13 years, to be served in a high—security penal colony, followed by restriction of liberty for a period of 1.5 years," the department's Telegram channel said.

On December 18, a court sentenced a resident of the Kursk region to 15 years in a penal colony for attempting to transfer information about the whereabouts of Russian volunteers and security forces to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). It was noted that she used a mobile phone to transmit information. However, after receiving no response, a few days later she passed the information to an FSB officer, mistakenly believing that he was a representative of Kiev.
