Doctors in the capital saved a woman after being bitten by a venomous snake
Doctors of the N. V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine in Moscow rescued a 50-year-old local woman after being bitten by a blue kufiya, a venomous snake, on Thursday, December 25.
According to Moscow 24, the snake escaped from the terrarium and bit its owner. The injured woman sought medical help. She was taken by ambulance to the Center for Acute Poisoning at the Sklifosovsky Research Institute, where she underwent detoxification and antihistamine therapy, Regnum news agency notes.
The blue kufiya is a type of venomous snake, its bite rarely leads to death, but it can disrupt blood clotting, cause tissue damage and a severe allergic reaction. 360.ru .
