The court sentenced Udaltsov to six years in a high-security penal colony.

The Second Western District Military Court sentenced Sergei Udaltsov, coordinator of the Left Front (listed as a terrorist and extremist in the Russian Federation), to six years in a high-security penal colony in a case of terrorism justification. A participant in the trial told Izvestia about this on December 25.

He was also banned from administering information resources for three years. During the debate, the state prosecution requested seven years in prison for Udaltsov.

In January last year, the Basmanny Court of Moscow granted the investigation's request to detain Udaltsov. His lawyer informed about the demand of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation to arrest the man.
