The training of future scientists and researchers, as well as providing attractive conditions for their work, should become a priority of the state. Alexey Likhachev, head of the Rosatom state Corporation, told Izvestia on December 25.

He noted that many scientists began to actively return to Russia from other countries.

"The first reason is the anti—Russian campaign launched abroad. It knows no borders, and even if they provide some kind of comfortable workplace, you see all this anti-Russian hysteria and it's certainly not comfortable to live in it," Likhachev explained.

The second reason for the return of specialists is a number of effective measures launched by the government to support scientists. Among them, Likhachev listed the campus program, advanced engineering schools and professional schools.

"We, Rosatom, are coming up with new forms, scientific and educational centers, and replicating them in our cities," he added.

During the "Results of the Year" on December 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that it was necessary to create the necessary living conditions for Russian specialists, and the government would gradually do this. The head of state also noted that many scientists are currently returning to Russia from other countries, including due to concerns about the lives of their children abroad.
