- The Accounting Chamber has identified personnel development as one of its key priorities
The Accounting Chamber of Russia has identified personnel development and human capital formation as one of the key priorities of its activities. The chairman of the department, Boris Kovalchuk, told Izvestia correspondent Viktor Sineok about this on December 25.
"A systematic approach is important everywhere, so we, for example, in the Accounting Chamber, have identified personnel development and human capital development as one of the key priorities of our activities and our strategy. Therefore, a systematic approach is important," he said.
Kovalchuk explained that the department has a permanent retraining program, which includes weekend courses for hundreds of employees. In addition, the employee motivation system, according to him, is linked to the annual results of their work.
The head of the Accounts Chamber noted that the state is also actively working in this direction through the development of science, education and programs such as the Professional training project. Speaking about the motivation of young professionals, Kovalchuk noted that financial incentives are still an important issue, but often fade into the background.
"For someone (from the young workers. The office space, the team, the tasks, the issues of career growth are important, <...> but for someone, of course, the financial side of the issue remains important," he concluded.
Earlier in the day, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting of the State Council that personnel issues are fundamental to Russia's development. He added that the topic of personnel training concerns every Russian region and every industry. According to the head of state, there is currently a shortage of labor in the labor market.
