The Russian Armed Forces destroyed the underground bunkers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Gulyai-Pole

Underground bunkers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have been discovered and destroyed in the city of Gulyai-Pole in the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on December 25 by Governor Evgeny Balitsky.

"The liberation of Gulyai-Pole continues. This is an important fortified area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a transport hub. <...> Our army destroyed the underground bunkers of the enemy in Gulyai—Pole," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Balitsky noted that the enemy had been building concrete fortifications deep underground for several years, carefully laying communications. According to him, millions of hryvnias of Ukrainian taxpayers were spent on these facilities.

"All this was presented as an achievement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result, these fortifications held out for five minutes in front of our army," the governor stressed.

The stormtroopers were supported by tanks with non-standard drone protection.

The day before, the Russian army liberated the village of Zarechnoye in the Zaporozhye region. In this area, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 245 militants, 17 vehicles, and two field artillery pieces, including an American 155-millimeter Paladin self-propelled artillery system. A fuel depot was also destroyed.
