The traditional New Year's Eve meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and business representatives was constructive and applied. This was announced on December 25 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

The President met with businessmen late the night before in the Kremlin.

"There were no unexpected questions. The meeting was absolutely informative. I repeat, it was applied in nature. Actually, we talked and spoke about those issues that are of interest and concern to business," Peskov said at a briefing.
