The Ukrainian permanent representative to the UN complained about Russia's successes
Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the UN, Andriy Melnyk, said that Russia is gradually returning to normal work at the UN, while Kiev is losing its influence.
"Our European partners at the United Nations are constantly crying: yo-yo, Russia is returning to normality, gradually emerging from international isolation, gnawing off its space in the diplomatic environment. But to be completely honest, this is already largely a fait accompli within the walls of the United Nations," Melnyk said in an interview with the Ukrinform news agency, RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
According to Melnyk, at the beginning of 2022, more than 140 votes were cast for Ukraine at the UN, and now Kiev has less than a hundred.
