- The architecture of the business program of the Future Technologies Forum has been published
The architecture of the business program of the Future Technologies Forum, which will be held on February 26-27 at the World Trade Center in Moscow, has been published. Scientists, representatives of market leaders, key departments and technology companies will discuss measures to achieve Russia's leadership position in the global biotechnology market.
The key topic of the Forum will be "Bioeconomics for Humans". The discussions at the Forum will be aimed at coordinating the efforts of market participants to implement the national project "Technological Support for Bioeconomics".
"The implementation of the core national technology leadership project is of crucial importance for the economy as a whole due to the cross-cutting nature of this industry. Biotechnologies enable the development of fundamentally new products and increase resource efficiency in a huge number of sectors, from drug production to space. The task of the national project is to ensure technological independence for bioeconomics products," said Denis Manturov, curator of the national Bioeconomics project, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
The national project is designed to solve the tasks of effectively using Russian raw materials, human resources and scientific potential to bring the Russian bioeconomy industry to the world leaders. It is planned to allocate about 20 billion rubles for the implementation of the national project by 2030.
"Russia is in a unique environment for the development of the bioeconomy industry and the creation of breakthrough biotechnologies. Rich and diverse biological resources, reputable natural science schools, a well-developed energy sector and information technology create a powerful base for the development and implementation of biotechnologies and improving the efficiency of existing industries. The Forum participants will discuss how to combine resources, knowledge and technologies into an ecosystem that will ensure the development of bioeconomics and the implementation of its principles in other areas to achieve the goals of technological leadership," said Anton Kobyakov, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee for the Preparation and holding of the Forum of Future Technologies, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation.
The Forum program will include discussions on four thematic tracks: "Technology: bioevolution", "Man: a new habitat", "Industries: sustainable development", "Ecosystem: society strategy".
The Technology: Bioevolution course will bring together discussions on the development of technologies necessary to make Russia one of the world leaders in the field of bioeconomics: additive biotechnologies, nuclear and nature-like technologies, synthetic biology, artificial intelligence.
"An important component in the implementation of the national project will be the participation of high-tech and knowledge-intensive businesses, their involvement at all stages of production. Bioeconomics is an interdisciplinary field in which the application of the latest technologies is critical to achieve the goals of technological leadership. It is necessary to unite industrial partners, scientific organizations and universities in order to saturate the market with new solutions that can be applied in the industry," said Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
The track "Man: a new habitat" will be dedicated to the organization of the environment based on the principles of sustainable development. It will include discussions on closed-loop bioeconomics, the use of biotechnologies in the food industry, and the development of bio-settlements as a new model of life.
In the program track "Industries: Sustainable development", the Forum participants will discuss measures to improve the efficiency of industries through the use of biotechnologies: energy, the agro-industrial sector, mining, as well as the creation of new industrial areas within emerging bioclusters.
The discussions on Ecosystem: Society Strategy will focus on shaping policy in the field of bioeconomics at various levels, from municipal to global. They will also consider specific measures to provide the industry with domestic equipment, personnel, attract investment, regulatory regulation and access new export markets. This area will include discussions about bioethics and the myths surrounding bioeconomics.
On the eve of the Forum, a scientific conference dedicated to the technological support of bioeconomics will be held.
