A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. Russian military personnel continue their successful offensive in various directions. The units of the North group of Forces have improved their tactical situation. Formations of two mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), the National Guard brigade, the air defense brigade and the border guard detachment of the border service of Ukraine were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Kondratovka, Novaya Sich, Novovasilevka, Pavlovka and Pisarevka of the Sumy region. In the Kharkiv direction, units of two mechanized and motorized infantry brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were defeated in the areas of Izbitskoye, Rybalkino and Staritsa settlements of the Kharkiv region. The enemy lost up to 265 soldiers, two artillery pieces and 14 vehicles.

As a result of decisive actions, the fighters of the "Southern" group of forces liberated the settlement of Svyato-Pokrovskoye in the Donetsk People's Republic. Formations of the mechanized, mountain assault, motorized infantry brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the marine brigade were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Konstantinovka, Kramatorsk, Nikiforovka and Reznikovka of the Donetsk People's Republic. The enemy lost more than 215 soldiers, a tank, six armored combat vehicles, 16 vehicles, two artillery pieces, three ammunition depots and five material depots.

Units of the Center group of forces continue to destroy the encircled enemy in the city of Dimitrov, Donetsk People's Republic. The manpower and equipment of three mechanized, amphibious assault, airborne, airmobile, jaeger brigades, an assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a marine brigade, two air defense brigades and a National Guard brigade were defeated. The enemy's losses amounted to more than 445 military personnel, a tank, a US-made M113 armored personnel carrier, three armored combat vehicles, six vehicles and five field artillery guns.

The Russian army, with the help of aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missiles and artillery, defeated airfield and port infrastructure, production sites for unmanned aerial vehicles, energy facilities that support the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 142 areas. In turn, air defense systems shot down six guided aerial bombs, a US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launcher and 472 aircraft-type drones.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, since the beginning of the special operation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost 669 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 104,953 UAVs, 640 anti-aircraft missile systems, 26,717 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,634 multiple launch rocket launchers, 32,153 field artillery and mortars, 49,974 units of special military vehicles.
