A Russian man accused of multibillion-dollar fraud has been extradited from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Russia. This was announced on December 25 by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.

"It was previously established that in the period from 2018 to 2021, the attacker and his accomplices concluded trust management agreements with citizens. The organizers of the criminal scheme promised to return the money raised with profit, but they did not fulfill their obligations," said Volk, her words are quoted on the portal "MIA Media".
