The enhanced mode of work of emergency services was introduced in Yamal

In the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, emergency services will switch to an enhanced mode of operation. This is due to the New Year holidays.

Rescuers, law enforcement officers, public utilities, medics and communications specialists will be on high alert. This is reported by the news agency " <url>" with reference to information from the district government.

The venues of the festive events will be checked in advance by specialists with service dogs. More than 350 Cossacks and social activists will be involved in law enforcement.

The government stressed that the number of citizens' appeals traditionally increases during the New Year holidays. In this regard, 46 Yamalspas rescuers, 111 employees of the fire service and 158 personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will be on duty on New Year's Eve.
