In Pskov, a 14-year-old teenager lost a finger phalanx when launching a firecracker. The victim was taken to the children's regional hospital.

According to the chief physician of the hospital, Evgeny Vasiliev, quoted by the Pskov News feed, explosive injuries are very dangerous due to the fact that multiple injuries are possible. As a result of the current accident, the teenager suffered injuries to his limbs, face, and parts of his head, as well as visual organs.

Doctors hope that the function of the brush will be completely preserved, and the child will receive only cosmetic defects.

The agency clarifies that a ban on the launch of fireworks has been introduced in the Pskov region, but an exception will be made for New Year's Eve: fireworks are allowed from 00:00 on December 31 to 10:00 on January 2.

Earlier, on December 20, in Khimki near Moscow, a teenager died as a result of the detonation of an unidentified object, two more people were injured. The incident occurred in Banny Lane of the Skhodnya microdistrict, the explosion occurred near house 1. Among the victims was a woman born in 1974, she received a mine-explosive injury to the front of her thigh, she was hospitalized. In addition, a teenager aged 15 received multiple shrapnel wounds to his face and brachial artery during the explosion, and he was also hospitalized. A criminal case has been opened into the death of a teenager and the injury of two other people.
