Putin has included the heads of the Orenburg and Tver regions in the State Council.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Evgeny Solntsev, Governor of the Orenburg Region, and Vitaly Korolev, Acting Governor of the Tver Region, to the State Council. The relevant decree was published on December 24 on the official Internet portal of legal information.

Sverdlovsk ex-governor Evgeny Kuyvashev was expelled from the State Council.

In addition, the names of positions have been clarified for some members of the State Council, including heads of regions who previously had the status of interim officers.

On December 10, Putin dismissed Oleg Khramov from the post of Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council (SB). The President also appointed Maxim Kutomkin, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council, to the vacant post.
