About 7 thousand loans have already been issued in the regions of Donbass and Novorossiya under a preferential mortgage program at 2% per annum. This was announced on December 25 by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin.

"We have indeed launched a preferential mortgage program at 2% in the regions of Donbass and Novorossiya. We have issued about 7 thousand loans. So far, this is not enough," Khusnullin said at a meeting of the government commission on regional development.

He also noted that the government will propose possible solutions to compensate for the second lost housing in the border regions in the near future.
