In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, a car hit a nine-year-old boy who ran into the roadway. According to the city Traffic Police on December 25, the child was taken to a medical facility.

The incident occurred in the afternoon on Davydova Street, a 36-year-old female driver was driving the car.

"While driving a Lexus LX 570, [the driver] ran over a nine—year-old boy who ran onto the roadway outside the pedestrian crossing in his field of vision," the department's Telegram channel said.

It is noted that the boy was injured. He is being examined by doctors. An investigation has been launched into the accident.
