Ukrainian Armed Forces withdraw 119th and 58th brigades in Sumy region due to losses

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Krasnopolsky district of the Sumy region, some units are being withdrawn deep into the region due to losses. This was reported on December 25 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"The Armed Forces of Ukraine, having suffered heavy losses, are forced to withdraw units of the 119th separate air defense brigade, special companies of the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade and special forces of the State Border Service of Ukraine," TASS quoted the text of the message.

It is specified that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are withdrawing militants deep into the Sumy region.

The day before, the Russian army liberated the village of Zarechnoye in the Zaporozhye region. In this area, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 245 militants, 17 vehicles, and two field artillery pieces, including an American 155-millimeter Paladin self-propelled artillery system. A fuel depot was also destroyed.
