Permanent Representative to NATO announced a reduction in the number of controversial issues in Ukraine

Washington believes that the process of resolving the conflict in Ukraine is gradually progressing, but there are still issues that require the agreement of Moscow and Kiev. This was stated by the Permanent Representative of the United States to NATO Matthew Whitaker.

"There are fewer issues on the agenda than there were two weeks ago. And this is good news," he said on the Fox News channel.

According to Whitaker, there are still topics that require additional study so that they are acceptable to both sides, however, as the permanent representative emphasized, the parties are now closer to a possible settlement than ever before.
