Kamila Valieva's disqualification period has ended

The disqualification of Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva for violating anti-doping rules ended on December 25, Sport-Express notes.

On January 29, 2024, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruled on a four-year disqualification of the athlete.

The suspension period began on December 25, 2021, the date of the positive doping test, in which the banned substance trimetazidine was detected.
