Officials from Gdansk in Poland unsuccessfully tried to seize the building of the Russian Consulate General, but they were not allowed inside. This was announced on December 24 by the Polsat TV channel.
"An attempt was made to take ownership of the building, but no one opened the doors to the officials," said Izabela Kozitskaya—Prus, head of the press service of the city administration.
